Operation Babylift: A humanitarian mission for Vietnamese orphans

The Cradle of Aviation Museum hosted a special event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Operation Babylift, a humanitarian effort to evacuate thousands of Vietnamese orphans in the final days of the Vietnam War. 

Excellent clips of the adoptee story and the Operation Babylift exhibit at the Pan Am Museum Foundation event.

This exhibit has been one of the most important exhibits that Devaki Ananda Murch has produced, reaching out to the adoptees, caregivers, flight attendants and others who participated in Operation Babylift.

It was amazing to see individuals find pieces of their history and share stories looking at documents and images.
