Operation Babylift StoryLine

Your Story. Your Time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us.

Your voice is a part of a growing tapestry that weaves through the generations across time and oceans. Every word, and memory honor the lives touched by Operation Babylift and the people who carried compassion through chaos.

When you share your story, you don’t just recall all of the wonderful things that have happened — you preserve it, kind of like a jam or jelly - saved until next time, possibly forever.

You create a bridge between past and present, allowing others to find themselves in the threads you’ve offered.

Your story reminds us that archives are not cold boxes of paper, but living collections of misplaced memories, love, loss, resilience, and connection.

This project began as a very practical task of organizing records for their eventual home at a repository. It has taken on a life of its own and has become a collective endeavor to ensure that these stories are never forgotten. With your help, the Operation Babylift Collection is digitizing these records, recording your oral histories, and curating exhibits so that we can invite others to share their stories and recognize those who have been a part of this period of time.
